EVT Educational Productions, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) not for profit media production company founded in 1992 by Eric V. Tait, Jr.

Use our combined talents to make the production of inspiring and entertaining multi-genre, multi-platform media the vehicles for providing career-motivating exposure and development for overlooked and ignored communities of color.

Leadership

founder

Eric V. Tait Jr.

A veteran broadcast journalist and documentarian whose credits include ABC World News Tonight.

Nightline, 20/20 and Our World. He is the Executive Producer / Director of the original multiple award-winning “Then I’ll Be Free To Travel Home” video documentary.

Among other documentaries Mr. Tait has produced and directed, the following have aired on PBS: "Across The River with Hedrick Smith," "Fire In Their Eyes," and "The Legacy of Maggie's American Dream." He is a Lifetime Achievement Award in Broadcasting Honoree of the New York Association of Black Journalists (NYABJ).

creative director

Keith Gonzales

Keith Gonzales is the Creative Arts Director for EVT Educational Productions and the Creative Program Director for MEDIA MAGIC EVTED, which he co-directs with Eric Tait Jr., President and Senior Project Director.

Keith coordinated the behind-the-scenes visuals for EVTED’s television documentary “Then I’ll be Free to Travel Home”, and all promotional materials and crafting for the 13-segment radio series by the same name. He created the graphics for the 5-segment radio broadcast series, “Every Voice and Sing”.

Keith works extensively with Producer/Director Eric V. Tait, Jr., developing new documentary projects, the latest being “Freedom Now!”, a multi-part documentary in development for streaming syndicated distribution. In his spare time, he is a designer for election campaign materials and designs logos and campaigns for humanitarian efforts like “Building Sustainable Borders” who provide relief aid services to Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
